whimsical self-portrait of a Pisces woman. But it is
more. It is also a quilt about rediscovering joy.
During my mother's five-year battle with ovarian
cancer, I let go of many things that seemed unimportant
at the time. But now, after her death, I'm discovering
that some of those little things are important after all
--- like finding joy in wearing red shoes. Mom, another
Pisces woman, would have approved.
