Swap. When your birthday rolled around, you got to choose a block style
and color scheme and everyone in the group made a couple of blocks for you.
I chose a block called Signature Star, but having people sign the center, I
asked them use a novelty fabric in the center that represented something
about them --- where they're from, their job, their interests or passions.
(This is a terrible pic, but I'll try to get a better one at some point.)
